Retirement planning can be exhausting. So many decisions! Make your retirement exciting by thinking about all the things you’ve wanted to do but time or money stood in your way. Phil Taylor’s article “25 Things to do When You Retire” in US News and World Report offers some ideas to get you started on your plans.

The most important factor is YOU. Are you drawn to hobbies you never had time to develop – fishing, woodworking, knitting? Or adventures you’ve waited all your life to take—safari in Africa, tour of Europe, sea kayaking in Alaska? How about a business idea you’ve always wanted to try but couldn’t during your earning years?

You might want to keep a list of ideas as they come to you. Just imagine the fun you’ll have exploring your favorite daydreams! Your freedom to choose what you want to do and when you do it depends on making sure your retirement savings are in the safety zone.
